CD weld pins also called capacitor discharge weld pins, it is a kind of insulation fastener, works with a stud welding machine to fixing pins, most are used for attaching insulation to various metal surface with a self locking washers secure insulating material.

We manufactured weld pins in low carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum, low carbon steel weld pins are available in galvanized or copper coated, the diameter is available in 2mm,2.7mm,3mm, 3.4mm,4mm, 5mm and etc,. the length is available from 10mm from 500mm.

Weld pins are usually used for marine, weld the pins to the metal where should install the insulation material by a stud welding machine, then press the insulation material through the weld pins, secure a self locking washer or dome caps onto the pin, bend over or clip off the pin to finish insulation installation.
